 This quote aptly defines the professional practice I have developed over the past 25 years.  I consider the process of gardening to be evolutionary, which is why I strive to balance the elements of design, the requirements of ongoing care, and the requisites of client.  In maintaining this equilibrium, I have had the honor of developing distinctive, dynamic and beautiful gardens with a select group of patrons and colleagues. 

 I believe that as with gardens, my craft grows and improves with time.  I welcome the opportunity to work with those who are interested in exploring the stewardship of land, the uniqueness of place, and the value and richness that great gardens can afford.
